Why “Departure”?
Departure reflects the reality of prayer: both a leaving behind and a moving ahead, stepping away from what was and pressing into what God is calling us toward.
Purpose
The Departure School of Prayer is an eight-week journey designed to cultivate a deeper encounter with God through intentional prayer, immersion in His Word, worship, ministry, and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Students will be equipped to grow in prayer, fasting, deliverance, healing, the prophetic, and spiritual disciplines, learning not only how to seek God’s hand, but how to dwell in His presence.
This season is an invitation to pursue deeper intimacy with Jesus, be transformed by His presence, and emerge strengthened, discerning, and empowered to live a life of obedience, authority, and faithful devotion.
Expanded for 2027
Departure is expanding in 2027!
This year we are extending Departure to eight weeks and welcoming additional teachers and classes to help us go deeper in both biblical understanding and practical application.
Our Thursday evening gatherings are also expanding beyond classroom teaching. Each evening will include a combination of teaching, worship, prayer, and ministry, creating space not only to learn about prayer, but to put what we are learning into practice and encounter the presence of God together.
The extended format gives us more time to seek God, receive biblical teaching, worship together, minister to one another, and respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Each evening will include teaching, worship, prayer, and ministry.

Your Commitment During Departure
More information and specific instructions will be provided at orientation.
During Departure, students will:
Attend Thursday evening sessions from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Commit to regular weekly prayer time in the prayer room or in a personally designated place of prayer
Journal weekly reflections
Fast one day per week from food, plus participate in a designated extended food fast (health restrictions will be taken into consideration)
Participate in a media fast (we will work with you to help set up your plan)
Complete prayer challenges
Complete assigned Scripture readings
Come Expectant
Come ready to seek God, worship, pray, learn, receive ministry, and grow in your relationship with Jesus.
Leave behind what was.
